At some point in your life, you’ve probably had to put together a bookcase or a nightstand bought from Swedish furniture giant IKEA. And as anyone with knowledge of IKEA knows, their furniture always comes with instructions that are heavy on the illustrations and light on language. IKEA does things this way so that they can print the same instructions for every country.

Now, via Geekologie, we’ve discovered  Ed Harrington—an artist and movie fan who has created a series of easy-to-follow IKEA-style instructions that let you put together big screen icons from beloved films. Who knew that putting together a monster could be done with just a few easy steps?

Each illustration shows all the right parts you need to create your favorite movie icon. Of course, one also needs a handy Allen wrench. Because everything from IKEA needs to be built with an Allen wrench. Although Harrington makes mostly horror characters and cinematic villains, there are a few heroes sprinkled in, like Robocop and He-Man. You can check out several of his 25 different IKEA-inspired pieces down below:

Harrington started this series back in 2015. But over the last few years, he’s added several more to the collection. Chances are that at least one of your favorite cinematic characters has made the cut. Heck, Silence of the Lambs gets both Hannibal Lecter and Buffalo Bill! And although he focuses mostly on classic characters, a pretty recent movie made the cut: Ari Aster’s Midsommar.

Interestingly enough, there doesn’t seem to be an IKEA instructions to make Frankenstein—the monster who is literally made from parts! Hopefully, that’s the next one we see. For more of Ed Harrington’s pop culture-inspired artwork, be sure to head over to his Instagram, as well as his Neatoshop.
