Scott Lang got a lot of love in the MCU’s recent Disney+ series, Ms. Marvel. From an inspiring mural to a podcast, Ant-Man was everywhere. So now, it only makes sense for us to get more of Scott Lang in a big way. Just before Marvel Studios’ 2022 San Diego Comic-Con panel, we got our first look at the upcoming movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is one of the most highly anticipated MCU Phase 4 projects. Unfortunately, for Ant-Man fans, the movie was delayed several times, but now we’re finally in the home stretch of getting one of our favorite insect heroes back on our screens. The poster gives us our first look at Cassie Lang in her Stinger armor, alongside her dad and the Wasp. Behind them Kang looms large, perhaps hinting at his bigger role in Phase Five.

Later in the massive Hall H panel we learned that Cassie will get sucked into the Quantum Realm during the film. It’s there that she and the audience will come across Bill Murray’s mysterious character and Jonathan Major’s Kang the Conqueror. But this Kang will be a different variant than the one that appeared in Loki. We also learned that famed Marvel rogue M.O.D.O.K. will appear in Quantumania as a villain. Plus Feige hinted that the film was key has he said there was a reason that this is the movie which is sparking Phase Five.

With the MCU’s world more multiversal than ever, we’re sure things are about to get even crazier. Some might even say they may get absolutely maniacal.

A release from Marvel shares more about Quantumania, offering the following synopsis:

Super Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and The Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

Of course, Paul Rudd returns to star in the movie as Ant-Man in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. We couldn’t do it without him. As the release notes, Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne/Wasp returns to the movie as well. Also back in action are Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfieffer as Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne. Additionally, Jonathan Majors will play Kang the Conqueror. And finally, Kathryn Newton will play a teenage Cassie Lang.
