Ahsoka Tano’s appearance on The Mandalorian was a day long remembered, to paraphrase her former mentor Anakin Skywalker. Rosario Dawson fulfilled the dreams of Clone Wars and Rebels fans who had waited over a decade to see the legendary former Jedi warrior in live-action. Her entrance was truly epic. Of course, there is one thing that would have made it even more grand. And that would bet the hit songs of ’70s rock music legends Heart.

Via Boing Boing, we’ve discovered a video from YouTuber Bugzkilla that rocks the house down. They’ve created a fan edit which overlays “Barracuda” with the lightsaber-wielding Ahsoka, as she kicks ass and takes names. Heart first released “Barracuda” in May of 1977. What else happened during that month of that year? Oh yeah, May of 1977 also saw A New Hope hit theaters, kicking off the entire Star Wars phenomenon. Maybe this mashup was just meant to be. You can watch the entire Heart/Ahsoka mashup video above.

Many films have effectively incorporated the music of Heart. Most notably, Sofia Coppola’s debut film, The Virgin Suicides. Recently, Captain Marvel rather cleverly found a way to use “Barracuda.”  Nowadays, Heart is maybe most famous for their big ’80s power ballads (and their big hair). But they were at their true peak in the ’70s with albums like Dreamboat Annie and Little Queen. Women fronting rock bands were a rarity back then. Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson were showing everyone just how you do it back in the day.

Supposedly there will be a Part II to this Ahsoka/Heart mash-up, according to the end of the video. Might we hear the song “Crazy on You”? Or “Never”? All we know is that Ahsoka Tano and Heart go together like peanut butter and jelly, and we are totally here for more of it.
