ARROW Showrunners Say Season 4 Trailer Will ‘Break the Internet’

The new season of Arrow is just over a month away on The CW and we still haven’t seen a full trailer yet! That may be about to change according to Arrow’s co-showrunners, Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle.

Yesterday, Guggenheim tweeted that “[Wendy Mericle] and I just watched the rough cut of the Arrow Season 4 trailer. Oh boy…” Mericle followed Guggenheim and added a bold prediction on her twitter account. “Pretty sure this trailer is going to break the internet.”

There’s certainly a lot happening in Arrow Season 4. Starling City is being rebranded as Star City, and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) is poised to be the new big bad. Darhk’s arrival was foreshadowed several times during the third season when it was revealed that he was a rival of Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable). But Darhk’s ties to Arrow go back even further into the show’s history and they may even lead John Diggle (David Ramsey) to the truth about his brother’s murder.

But first, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) has to get back in costume as the Arrow! When last seen, Oliver and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) rode off together…but something will inevitably bring them back to Star City. And we’ve already seen a hint of the new Arrow Bunker, which as everyone should really be calling “The Quiver,” after a great Harley Quinn line from the Injustice: Gods Among Us comic.

There is also the hope that the new trailer could give us a glimpse of Matt Ryan’s Constantine, as well as a first look at Echo Kellum as Mister Terrific, and Alexander Calvert as Anarky.

Arrow Season 4 will return to The CW on Wednesday, October 7…so that new trailer should drop very soon!
