AMERICAN GODS’ Mr. Wednesday Finally Gives Us Some Clues in 2 New Clips

When it comes to the sprawling, labyrinthine plot of Neil Gaiman‘s American Gods, the clues the author drops across the novel’s myriad pages are everything; they forecast plot points and things to come, and certainly help the reader understand the Old Gods and the New. So it makes sense that, in the second episode of the Starz TV adaptation of the tale, we’re getting even MORE of those clues than were on the page. After all, there are few things more grandiose and in need of hand-holding (at times!) than the brilliance of Gaiman’s words paired with Bryan Fuller and Michael Green’s purposefully obfuscating storytelling.

And after that seriously nutty premiere episode (which, if you need THAT one explained, click here!), some folks may have been left scratching their head. Especially when it comes to that scene with Bruce Langley, a.k.a. Technical Boy, your new favorite villain. Lord knows Shadow Moon certainly is, given that he’s a mere mortal and all. Thankfully, it seems as though Mr. Wednesday will give us a bit more insight into all of that this Sunday, as evidenced in the below clip:

But it doesn’t look like he’ll be that way all the time. Technical Boy is just one of the weird things to happen to Shadow of late, and it’s making him question his own sanity… especially when Lucille Ball asks him if he wants to see her tits. Based on this second clip, it almost seems as though Wednesday would rather he continue to do that (perhaps for his benefit?):

Whatever ends up happening next, we’re just gonna keep worshipping at the altar of American Gods because, whew is this show good.
