Your Multipass to the 8-Bit Version of THE FIFTH ELEMENT

Your Multipass to the 8-Bit Version of THE FIFTH ELEMENT

Cinefix is back with another classic film presented to us in glorious 8 bit. This time, they’ve tackled Luc Besson’s 1997 sci-fi film The Fifth Element. Pretty much every major scene has been included, as well as some small gems, like Luke Perry as Billy the archeologist assistant and Mathieu Kassovitz’s little dance apres attempting to rob Bruce Willis.

Watch it here:

It goes without saying that Milla Jovovich as LeeLoo declaring her “multipass” status is a classic scene, but there are so many great moments in this film. At Wondercon this weekend, I spied some excellent Zorg cosplay, and couldn’t help but say to myself, “A. Cherry.” What are some of your favorite moments from this film?

  1. Cute but this isn’t 8-bit.  This is 16-bit.

  2. Keiwan says:

That really caepurts the spirit of it. Thanks for posting.

  3. Robb says:

Zorg didn’t say “My favorite.” before using some of the ZF-1’s better features…

  4. Chris says:

Definitely awesome, but looks more like a 16-bit generation game… sprites are too advance.

  5. incigreen says:

@serenagold Yea I was thinking the same thing. I mean it was good but they could have at least included the part where Korban meets Ruby Rhod for the first time and he dances and sings all night long.

  6. serenagold says:

    No Ruby Rhod? Disappointment.

  7. Michaela says:

When Ian Holm hits Bruce Willis on the head and he falls down. I have to replay it at least 2 times every time I watch. It’s dumb and brilliant and cracks me up every time.

  10. g. bravender says:

    Your a MONSTER!………I know!

  11. Bruce says:

    Too Sega. Must be 16-bit.

  12. Jeremy says:

Awesome! Such a great parody of a great movie.
