For real, Eric can do no wrong hes a fuckin comdy genius. the hardist iv ever laughed has ben while watching his show PLeeeeease! says: November 30, 2013 at 12:41 pm Oh my god, Pete, you have to get a better science background. I love your shows, both this one and on TBS, and I’m sympathetic to the sentiment of telling naysayers to “Scram!” when you’re doing something that works for you, but come ON! You are not eating SUNLIGHT when you drink wheat grass! Light isn’t edible! Otherwise you’d gain weight laying on the beach. The closest we get to eating light is eating the energy that plants store from sunlight, aka sugars. Chlorophyll’s just a middle man. Tell me to scram if you must, and keep drinking wheat grass if it makes you happy. But please, Pete, please don’t say you’re eating sunlight. thebest says: September 23, 2013 at 11:39 pm this was the best Pierre says: September 16, 2013 at 4:34 pm Was kinda hoping the entire podcast would be in borderline-racist Jamaican pidgin. Tina says: September 16, 2013 at 1:46 pm This episode is hilarious, but it hurts the science part of my brain. Dorothy Mantooth says: September 13, 2013 at 12:38 pm Pete, please invite Doc Chicken on your podcast. That Catchphrase says: September 13, 2013 at 12:34 pm GIT’NIT GIT’NIT GIT’NIT GIT’NIT O-O-OWN! miranda says: September 13, 2013 at 8:45 am that catchphrase that kept coming up in the voice was grating on my soul. I loved this episode aside from that. I can’t remember the catchphase. and I never want to hear it again. FD says: September 13, 2013 at 6:46 am Anyone know the book That Andre mentions. “You are going to die” or something like that. John G. says: September 12, 2013 at 9:24 pm @Mark That’s a great idea. I could listen to Adomian doing Todd Glass forever. So, it would be Pete doing Kumail or maybe Daniel Plainview interviewing Todd Glass. But would Pete do Daniel Plainview as Daniel Plainview, or is it Pete doing Pete in a Plainview voice? Pete also does a fun Al Pacino. Jacob says: September 12, 2013 at 5:22 pm Any other Weirdos reading along with Pete and took Sex At Dawn out of the library? I’ve always wanted to be in a book club and this seems like a pretty good time and place to start and the closest I’m going to get to it… I’m really enjoying it myself and recommend it! Also, just started the Pete Holmes episode of Call Chelsea; too good, y’all. Mark says: September 12, 2013 at 1:48 pm Great episode. Pete should have James Adomian on and have a 3 hour episode that is nothing but them doing impressions of other comedians. Marta says: September 12, 2013 at 1:46 pm Green Day facts, with Pete Holmes! laura says: September 12, 2013 at 11:38 am I have used that same glorious ‘Mr Show’ Drugachusettes quote many a time! <3 Must watch skit for anyone who hasn't seen it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHqcNj0Pv6c ItsAlrightPodcast says: September 12, 2013 at 7:12 am Holy man, funniest Kris Kringle impression ever, Pete! Had to rewind to 27:21 a couple times Tillburg says: September 12, 2013 at 6:20 am So glad you guys brought up Outside Lands. To this day I was convinced Glaser was just screwing with your bolts but I guess he was serious. What a delightful guest you should have him on thrice more! joecrabb says: September 12, 2013 at 1:20 am Why does Pete play The Batman, when he laughs like The Joker? Germ says: September 11, 2013 at 11:38 pm Eric, I think the reason you felt unaffected by cocaine is the same reason I did: ADHD… yerds says: September 11, 2013 at 9:42 pm Another good one. Really wanted to hear more about Eric’s comedy background etc. Get him back on! sarah says: September 11, 2013 at 9:10 pm “I’m inside Google Earth” I mean…. this one just keep churnin’ out the hits sarah says: September 11, 2013 at 8:09 pm It is a JOY listening to Pete and Eric play. Also, never, never stop with the nutrition or spirituality talk — I live for it. Where else can you hear “So I was in my kitchen making my own Wheatgrass…” “..No, I taught YOU to meditate!” and my personal fave: “Did you see Zeitgeist?” “Of course” GLASER accuracy on this ep elizabeth says: September 11, 2013 at 4:29 pm The person who “heckled” Pete by yelling out “quantum physics” was probably trying to back Pete up (agree with him). In quantum physics they believe you can’t observe something without affecting it/altering it. Pete if you haven’t heard about it before you’d probably get a kick out of the electron 2 slit experiment. (The gist is electrons behave differently when people are “watching”/ recording them). youtube.com/watch?v=DfPeprQ7oGc Travesty says: September 11, 2013 at 1:16 pm It was impossible to contain my laughter at work with this episode. Clay says: September 11, 2013 at 1:05 pm Awesome! I haven’t related so well to a religious section than I did with this one. IT was BRILLIANT! Can’t wait for part III: The Reckoning (aka Part II). tomK says: September 11, 2013 at 12:59 pm That Kumail impression is ridiculously spot on. Travesty says: September 11, 2013 at 12:29 pm @Arabrabbra How do you know the LSD caused it? Hisdudeness9829 says: September 11, 2013 at 10:46 am Episode 85 of YMIW Julian says: September 11, 2013 at 10:23 am Great episode! Also, for anyone wondering, here’s the podcast they’re referring to in the beginning: http://www.nerdist.com/2012/09/you-made-it-weird-83-live-from-sf-outside-lands/ @Arabrabbra says: September 11, 2013 at 9:38 am My uncle had his schizophrenia triggered by acid. He has never recovered. These are RARE stories, but if you have underlying psycotic issues, acid can trigger them. He may have been normal his whole life, he may have become schiz triggered later in life, but the acid jump started it. LOVED this podcast! The best part of the B in Apt 23 was Eric. Em says: September 11, 2013 at 8:54 am Which podcast are you guys referring to at the beginning? Edward Gundrum says: September 11, 2013 at 7:47 am Didn’t listen to this yet, but the first thing I thought when I saw it was Eric Andre was (“I bet he got naked during the episode”).
