WRECK-IT RALPH Composer Outs New Sequel In The Works

Movie composer Henry Jackman, who’s also known for his work on X-Men: First Class and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, has revealed that a Wreck-It Ralph sequel is in the works.

WreckItRalph“I can’t tell you more, not because I’m being coy, but I believe that it is officially on the cards. I don’t know any more other than a story is indeed being written,” said Jackman during an interview with Collider. Staying true to his word, Jackman left the teasing at that, and didn’t further elaborate on any details for the supposed sequel.

Wreck-It Ralph was able to stray far from the tall pile of cringe-worthy licensed video game films, delivering a unique take at game culture and game development and packaging it into a fun and entertaining Disney movie. That movie gave me a flashback to my childhood like no other Disney movie before. Together with Tangled, one of the best Disney movies in years. Way better than FROZEN (Why does Disney need to put the annoying singing back in their movies?!) I can’t wait for the sequel to arrive. I hope they bring Sarah Silverman’s character back.
P.S. Wreck-It Ralph should have gotten the Oscar instead of the weak & overhyped BRAVE

Or they could do the more predictable and have the arcade get bought out and/or introduce a new game or two.

  3. TJ Anderson says:

I’ve been thinking about the sequel since the first one came out. Here’s my idea: all of the games that are hauled off from the arcade as “defective” get plugged back in and repaired at either a repair shop, a hacker space, or a collector’s warehouse. But even though they’ve been reprogrammed, in many cases the bugs (bad characters) still exist in one form or another. Then chaos ensues a la night at the museum two.

  5. Jessica says:

I’d be very interested in seeing a new Wreck-it Ralph movie, especially if it involves a greater variety in represented game worlds.

Shut up and take my money.

  7. gridsleep says:

Wreck-It Ralph is the new Leon.

  8. Justin Ross says:

Very ready for a sequel! Hope they incorporate more of the classic characters in this one if they can get all the rights. Either way, I’m sure it will be just as fun as the first.
