Before we all get too engrossed in Zack Snyder’s upcoming depiction of the Caped Crusader, let us look back at arguably (and to some people not at all arguably) his best live-action outings to date: Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy. From the more realistic take on Gotham City, to the cast including the likes of Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman, to the villains, many of whom have now become the permanent public face of those characters, Nolan’s take on Batman has proved itself already to have longevity.
For big fans of this trilogy (of which we certainly count ourselves), this week sees the release of The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Edition Blu-ray set. It includes all three films, all the special features from the previous releases, a brand new sixth disc with wholly new features including a conversation between Nolan and the director of 1978’s Superman, Richard Donner, and a retrospective on the trilogy, three Hot Wheels vehicles (the Batmobile, Batpod, and Bat[wing]), 48-page book, and 5 Mondo art cards featuring cool interpretations of Ra’s Al Ghul, Scarecrow, Two-Face, the Joker, and Bane. That’s almost more than would fit in most people’s Batcave, and we want to give one away to you!
All you need to do to win this limited-number set is enter our contest here, then head to our Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages to give yourself extra chances to win. You’ve only got until midnight on Monday September 30th, 2013, to enter or this opportunity will explode in Gotham Harbor, which is probably not what you’d want to have happen.
