You saw the snippet of the this last week; Now, Naughty Dog has come out and released the full opening cinematic to their upcoming story-based DLC, The Last of Us: Left Behind. Why did Riley leave Ellie to think she was dead for a full 45 (or 46) days? What exactly was the little troublemaker up to for an entire month and a half? If you don’t want the answers to these questions right now, then I suggest you don’t scroll down and press the play button on the following video.
From the looks of things, Left Behind is going to start off with a stealth action sequence, which is nothing unfamiliar to anyone who played the original game, as there were sections that you had to sneak through with the scarcity of weapons and ammunition. One thing to consider is how, with Riley being a Firefly, it reinforces Ellie’s stance on the ending of The Last Of Us, thus making me dislike the other protagonist, who I will not name because he pissed me off, even more. Gah, I don’t think I’ve ever looked forward to a Valentine’s Day as much as I am this year.
Here’s another gem for you The Last Of Us fans to look at: a cinematic interview with the voice actresses Ashley Johnson (Ellie) and Yaani King (Riley). If anyone wants to talk The Last Of Us, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @Malik4Play.
