This DOCTOR WHO Tribute Video Reminds Us Why We Love the Timelord

We won’t see the return of Doctor Who until the spring of next year, which is a long time to wait for the adventures of our favorite time traveler when you don’t have a TARDIS to move through time and space. In the meantime, this tribute video can act as a reminder to why the Doctor is one of the coolest characters on television.

Created by TheGaroStudio, the video is a chronicle of the series since its return in 2005. Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, and Peter Capaldi are all represented, aiding and abetting in the gamut of emotions held withiin this video—it’s the absolute best of the Doctor. From being the hero and standing up when no one else will, his goofiness and seeming inability to take anything seriously, we are treated to all facets of the two-hearted timelord.

But that’s only one part of it: not only is the Doctor present, but his equally-as-important companions are as well. Rose Tyler, Martha Jones, Donna Noble, Amy Pond, and Clara Oswald all appear to ensure the trouble the Doctor was bound to get in could at least be manageable. Sure we have to wait a bit for his return. Thankfully this video shows why it’s worth it. And in the meantime, check out more of TheGaroStudio’s videos on their YouTube channel here.

So what do you think? Will this tide you over for the next year? Or has it made you angry that you have to wait until 2017 for another ride in the TARDIS? Let me know on Twitter or enjoy some fish fingers and custard in the comments below.
