The hottest craze in Harajuku fashion could easily be a plot point on a future season of True Detective. Created by footwear designer Jeffrey Campbell as part of his summer 2013 collection, the “Icy Wedge” looks like your average fashionable wedge shoe except with one distinct difference: it has a clear sole filled with decapitated Barbie doll heads. Though the shoe dropped back in the summer 2013 collection, they are currently blowing up on Japanese social media channels as fashionplates across the country share their designer decapitation duds.
Maybe you’re thinking, “Hey, this is a neat idea, but I think it could get even more f***ed up.” Well, you’re right. If you’re a fan of ruining relationships in a truly audacious fashion, you can buy a mixed pair of shoes that contains Barbie heads in one sole and Ken heads in the other. Wear your emotions on your sleeve and your red flags on your feet.
Do you wish The Governor’s zombie aquarium from The Walking Dead could be attached to your feet? Well, this is the next best thing!
Just think — for the low, low price of $264.99, you too can be a walking Lifetime original movie.
