Unfortunately Guardians of Middle Earth is not free on playstation for plus members. I got super psyched when you guys talked about it on the show, sounded fun!

  3. succinct says:

Had no idea Combichrist did the soundtrack to DMC! If you want similar stuff but with less screaming, check out another project from the same guy: Icon of Coil.

  4. Lurky McGee says:

Did you know that there is an honest-to-goodness video game adaptation of the movie The Room? It’s brilliant: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/547307

@videoTHL – I was going to mention that game! It started an “escape the room” craze, right?

That one Japanese dude made Crimson Room, Viridian Room, Blue Chamber and White Chamber. The first one is the best, pretty much. Viridian is kinda hard…here’s a link to Crimson Room for any interested parties:

  6. videoTHL says:

Your description of the iPad game “The Room” reminded me of a flash game I played back in 2004, called Crimson Room.. it was pretty tough and involved moving around a room finding clues, using inventory items together to solve puzzles, etc.

  7. Mandy W. says:

Yes! So glad Agee is back!

  8. david elliott says:

whoa! just checked out WILL SASSO’S VINE ACCOUNT….

HILLARIOUS! never knew a non-cat could make me laugh more than once in less than 7 seconds.

    Thanks for the re-komm.

  9. Jerry says:

Fun Fact- Both this podcast and the new Nerdist podcast briefly mentioned those surgical masks that Japanese people use to avoid spreading disease…and apparently pollution.

  10. Kyle S. says:

Alternate episode title: The Tatau of Steve

  11. Jeff MacDonald says:

I haven’t played Guardians of Middle Earth, but it sounds like a MOBA to me. That is to say the same genre of DotA and League of Legends.
