Tenement Brings the Rock on BRUISED MUSIC VOL. 2 (Premiere)

We are super stoked to be premiering Tenement’s single collection, Bruised Music Vol. 2 in all its rocking glory. These songs vary in production and tone, but all have that punk tinged rock that Tenement is best known for. You can the intense energy of their live show pushing through on nearly every track; this is rock n’ roll in its purest form. Raw, vicious, and rowdy, Bruised Music Vol. 2  is a must-listen for fans of Tenement and/or good music.

Since forming in 2006, Tenement has become known as one of rock’s best live bands. The three piece group has always produced emotional music that is often categorized as punk or even hardcore. But as Bruised Music Vol. 2 proves, Tenement defies simple categories. The tracks here range from lo-fi, fuzz -drenched rock to acoustic mini ballads and everything in between. It all sounds like a different side of the same band. Few groups seem as honest and raw as Tenement, and that’s part of what makes them so special.

Right from the first track, “Take Everything” you’ll want to start dancing. There’s just some much energy in this collection, so much heart. We especially adore “Jet Slug” and the relentless “Your Life or Mine.” Some many awesome riffs, catchy melodies, and wailing feedback. There’s just so much to love on Bruised Music Vol. 2.

The band is currently setting up a tour for this summer, with dates slowly trickling out. Trust us when we say that you want to see these guys live, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for a date near you. In the meantime, stream their singles collection below, inject your life with some awesome rock, and get pumped about one of the best rock bands currently jamming. Bruised Music Vol. 2 is out this Friday, April 8 via Grave Mistake Records and Toxic Pop Records, but there’s still time to pre-order the vinyl, so get on that right away.
