Six cast members of Telltale’s stellar The Walking Dead season one will be together on stage for a special live performance during this week’s San Diego Comic-Con!
In what is billed as “The Walking Dead Live Performance,” the cast will be reenacting key scenes from the game, and the announced lineup is a pretty good indicator as to what tense dialogue attendees might witness. The actors and their respective characters are as follows: Dave Fennoy, starring as protagonist Lee; Melissa Hutchinson, voicing Lee’s young ward Clementine; Gavin Hammon as Kenny; Nicole Vigil as Carley; Adam Harrington as Andy; and Nicki Rapp as the intractable Lilly. Lilly’s father Larry will also be included in scenes, but as his original actor Terry McGovern could not attend the event, Larry too will be be voiced by Adam Harrington.
If you haven’t played the first season of the game, we’ll keep spoilers non-existent here, but with that line-up, we could almost guarantee that there will be explosive *cough*Lilly*cough* arguments, crises of conscience, and maybe — just maybe — a real tear-jerker of a moment.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th at 8 p.m. PT (11 p.m. ET) and will take place at Petco Park as part of the Walker Stalker Fan Fest. “The Walking Dead Live Performance” will also be broadcast on Skybound’s Twitch channel for folks who cannot make it out to SDCC. If you are in San Diego for the Comic-Con festivities and would like to go to this event, Walker Stalker Fan Fest tickets can be purchased at $30 for a one day pass, and $55 for a two day pass. WSFF will occur on both Friday and Saturday, but as mentioned the Live Event will take place on Saturday. The cast will participate in a panel at Fan Fest on Friday morning at 11:30 a.m. PT.
Be sure to bookmark Skybound’s Twitch Channel and set an alarm for Saturday if you’d like to tune in!
