Happy Superman Day! A day to celebrate all things related to the last son of Krypton. Why not change your clothes in a phone booth, attempt to leap tall buildings in a single bound, put your glasses on and fool your girlfriend! Ok, maybe don’t do any of those things.. instead, let’s just have burgers.
Superman can withstand almost anything so a little Sriracha won’t hurt him, right? Ok, how about A LOT of Sriracha? This little burger slider packs a punch with a flavorful burn both inside the burger and out. Can you withstand the heat? There’s no better day to try than Superman Day!
Superman Sriracha Sliders
(makes 6 small sliders)
1 Kotobukiya Superman symbol silicone mold
1 pound ground beef
2 Tablespoons Sriracha
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
salt and pepper
6 small slider buns
To make the frozen Sriracha symbols, squeeze Sriracha into the Superman symbol mold and freeze until solid. Turn the molds out into a sealable container and store in the freezer until ready to use.
In a bowl mix together the ground beef, Sriracha, Worcestershire Sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder and onion powder.
Form the meat mixture into 6 small patties. Season with salt and pepper.
On a grill over medium-high heat cook the burgers for 3-4 minutes, then turn over and cook for another 2-3 minutes until desired doneness.
Top with frozen Sriracha logos and serve on toasted slider buns.
