STAR WARS “Starship” Luxury Resort Might Come to Disney World

Although we are all looking forward to spending as much time as humanly possible at the Disney Parks´upcoming Star Wars Land expansions, that’s not the only vacation destination the House of Mouse has planned for that galaxy far, far away. According to the Walt Disney World News TodayDisney is surveying their guests about a possible Star Wars resort hotel experience that would be built at Walt Disney World. It would evidently feature a Star Wars spaceship of some kind.

You can see concept art in the in the video down below from the Walt Disney World News Today YouTube channel.

The survey is actually not being conducted by the Walt Disney Company, but it seems it is being done instead by a contracted third party through Swagbucks.com. The survey is pretty thorough though when talking about their potential plans, and even includes concept art and a ton of details of what this entire hotel experience would be like for the guests.

According to the survey, this “2-night immersive resort experience at Walt Disney World” would include the following amazingness:

  • The opportunity to experience a 2-day story set in the the Star Wars universe
  • Be surrounded in a continuous, story-driven entertainment experience as it unfolds over the course of the 2-night stay
  • Have personal interactions with Star Wars characters, live performers throughout the starship (experience the story or simply observe the action according to personal preference)
  • Engage in the story with programs such as flight training, ship exploration, lightsaber training, and personalized secret missions (both on the starship and throughout the Star Wars themed planet)

And that’s not even counting all the cool regular hotel perks that Disney would offer. Yes, the whole thing would set you back between $900 and $1000 dollars (or probably more, let’s be real), but still…where do we sign up?? Although this is just a survey at the moment, the fact that it goes into such serious detail and shows concept art means it’s something the company must be really serious about, and has a good shot of happening.

What do you think of this potential Star Wars resort experience, and just how much would you spend of your hard earned money to stay in the galaxy far, far away? Let us know down below in the comments.
