On January 29, 2008 Ahsoka Tano made her debut on Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It’s hard to believe it’s been 9 years since Ahsoka became Anakin’s Padawan, but we’re grateful that, for better or worse, their lives have been intertwined ever since.
Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein brought Ahsoka’s voice to life, and the character had such a huge impact on the fan community that she was brought back and celebrated with an Ahsoka Lives Day at Star Wars Celebration. Fans have poured their love of Ahsoka into creating some amazing fan tributes to this beloved Star Wars character. Here are just a few to celebrate on Ahsoka Tano Day.
Ahsoka Tano Amigurumi by CharacterLuv
Homemade Star Wars toys are some of the best tributes. This sweet little Ahsoka is handmade and stands 8-inches tall, just the right fit for two toothpick lightsabers. Ideal for cuddling as you rewatch Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Ahsoka Tano Bead Art by Hollohandcrafted
It’s easy to write off Perler Bead art as an easy kid’s craft, but some artists have been able to take it to the next level and create some stunning pieces of art. This Ahsoka Tano piece is created with well-placed, colorful beads and features two lightsabers, Ahsoka’s Padawan green and an unaligned white.
Ahsoka Tano Leggings by Geekilicious
Leggings are a staple of every fangirl’s wardrobe and it’s always nice to find some that are subtle enough to pair with everyday clothes, but still show off your fandom. I adore these Ahsoka Tano leggings; you know exactly who they represent and they do so in a bold fashion. Comfy and fun, these would be great to wear to conventions.
Ahsoka Tano Loth-cat Art by Eric Kwun
Star Wars Rebels fans love Ahsoka but in second place just might be the Loth-cats. Native to Lothal, these cute but fierce animals are a fun part of the Star Wars Rebels universe. This adorable art features a Loth-cat wearing a headpiece resembling Ahsoka’s lekku. The perfect combination of two fan favorites!
Ahsoka Tano Holiday Sweatshirt by Her Universe
Ashley Eckstein’s Her Universe recently relaunched their website but since it was down over the holidays, this Ahsoka holiday sweatshirt wasn’t available. The sweatshirt features exclusive art by Dave Filoni of a wintery Ahsoka keeping warm in her Togruta winter coat. It’s a good time to pick this up since there’s still a cold front going on right now and it’s never too late to get started on next year’s holiday attire. The shirt is available in youth through size 3X.
