“Star Wars” Fans Unite To Help Parents Of Ailing Baby

Here’s another reason you nerds rule. Star Wars fans and even actors raising money to help pay the medical bills for a baby, “Princess Leah” (yeah, spelling’s different, but whatever), whose seizures are a mystery to doctors.  Here’s the report from KTLA in Los Angeles:

Leah’s parents are huge Star Wars fans — dad is a Hollywood voiceover guy and director of photography known in fan circles as “DeltaSquadBoss.” They’ve raised $15,000 so far between a raffle of Star Wars-related stuff and donations. The blog, and information about how you can donate, is at princessleahdiaries.blogspot.com. The raffle, at Facebook, is here.

We are working hard to spread the word and maybe find some Doctor able to help Leah’s doctors team at UCLA.
