I have a confession to make — When I was in school, I used the money my parents gave me for food to buy comic books. What can I say? I loved them THAT much. That left one question: How do I eat? Well, a trip down the soup aisle at the grocery store led to the answer: Top Ramen. I lived off that stuff in college. I have another confession to make — I didn’t know it was an actual delicacy. For the longest time I thought it was just an easy way to pack soup.
I was definitely wrong, as proven by this new poster created by Fanny, a designer from Berkeley, CA. It is the definitive aid in telling others not only how diverse Ramen is, but how much you love it as well.
Fanny’s love of Ramen led her to design this poster displaying the top 25 most common recipes for Ramen. You can check off the ones you have already tried, and use it as a guide to the ones you haven’t.
The poster is sold in two styles, Festival and Traditional. Festival has a background of Ramen, and is more vibrant. The Traditional style has a background of a bamboo brush painting. Either style is definitely great for display (Hey, you Instagram all of you meals, why not make a more artistic choice).
You can see more of the print and what goes into its making in the gallery below.
