See THE INDOOR KIDS, POP MY CULTURE, and More Live At The L.A. Podfest This Weekend

There will be a pretty strong contingent of Nerdist Podcast Network folks and shows at the L.A. Podfest, the second annual celebration of podcasting, coming to Le Meridien Delfina Hotel at 530 Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica, CA this weekend. How about Doug Benson and Karen Anderson’s Dining with Doug and Karen, Cole Stratton and Vanessa Ragland’s Pop My Culture, and Kumail Nanjiani and Emily Gordon’s The Indoor Kids, all live? And Katie Levine, producer of the Nerdist Podcast? And — this is a huge deal and a rare event — me? You can see all of us live and in person as part of an all-star three-day event that, if you can make it to Santa Monica Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday, you must attend.

If you’re looking for us, here’s the Nerdist-related schedule:

6 pm, Squarespace Ballroom: Pop My Culture, starring Cole Stratton and Vanessa Ragland talking about the ABC TGIF lineup of yore with special guests Reginald VelJohnson (Family Matters), Jodie Sweetin (Full House), Stuart Pankin (Dinosaurs), and Brice Beckham (Mr. Belvedere) on the panel.

10:30 am, Lucina Ballroom: Dining with Doug and Karen
Noon, Espada Room: The Indoor Kids
2 pm, Cabrilla Room: Pitch My Podcast Panel: Katie Levine (Nerdist Podcast), Perry Michael Simon (Nerdist,, Chris Mancini (Comedy Film Nerds), and Chris Gore (Podcrash) listen to your podcast pitches and tell you whether you’ve got something there. Keith Malley (Keith and the Girl) moderates.

lapodfest2013logoBut there’s much, much more, including WTF with Marc Maron, Never Not Funny with Jimmy Pardo, Welcome to Night Vale, Walking the Room, Comedy Film Nerds, Sklarbro Country, Girl on Guy with Aisha Tyler, The Mental Illness Happy Hour, Jordan, Jesse, Go!, Jackie Kashian’s The Dork Forest, Jake Johansen’s Jake This, FitzDog Radio, Alison Rosen is Your New Best Friend, Pointless with Kevin Pereira, The Dana Gould Hour, Keith and the Girl, The Fogelnest Files, Improv for Humans with Matt Besser, and many more, and did I mention Phil Hendrie doing his Mmm Hmmm with Bobbie Dooley? That’s not even the entire lineup, but I’m tired of typing.

So, you gotta be there. All the information is at the Podfest website, and festival passes and daily passes are available by clicking here. See you there!
