See a Course of the Force Spot at California Cinemark Theaters This Weekend

If you’re in California this weekend and want to see a bit of Course of the Force awesomeness on the big screen, then you are in luck. Beginning this weekend, at Cinemark Theaters in California, if you see a G, PG, or PG-13 movie, you’ll be able to watch an ad for this year’s Course of the Force, the Star Wars-themed relay going from Skywalker Ranch to San Diego beginning July 9th, projected large in front of your eyes.

The ad will feature a Star Wars fan being called into action by the disembodied voice of Chris Hardwick. Then he gets chased by Stormtroopers and threatened by Darth Vader. That’d get us moving too.

Show some love to Nerdist and to Course of the Force and to Make-a-Wish and go watch a movie at Cinemark. And, while you’re at it, why not sign yourself up to run a quarter-mile piece? It’ll be fun and Star Wars-y.
