REVIEW: XPJ Projector

I
really don’t like failing stuff, but we gave this thing every opportunity to shine, which even though it’s a projector, it could barely do. I sincerely hope that the company that makes this device goes back and tweaks it into a useful projector, because their intention to create an inexpensive, portable gaming projector is a good one:

BTW, this comment about the XPJ was on G4’s site:

"BennyD – Saturday, August 9, 2008 5:47 AM

C’mon! HILARIOUS.

i bought and returned one like this because it was too weak (also have a zoombox which is similar and weak). i ended up getting a Favi 1500 (www.favientertainment.com) for around $400, and it works great. Very bright, sharp picture (around 1500 lumens)for movies, games and biz presentatinos… and best of all it uses an inexpensive ($50) bulb that lasts 6000 hrs instead of the usual $250+.

A great accessory to your projector is a wireless mouse. These
have dropped considerably in price and allow the educator to
face their audience when presenting the slide show. When
choosing a wireless mouse choose one that has a long range
so that you can walk around when presenting.
