Well, look what we have here. Though we all figured Bethesda would be saving any news relating to Fallout 4 for their first ever E3 press conference, the company shocked the world by essentially confirming the title and teasing an announcement for tomorrow. This bit of info was dropped earlier this morning when Bethesda posted the below tweet featuring an image telling fans to “Please Stand By”. Ooooh. FINALLY!

The tweet itself included a link to Fallout.Bethsoft.com which features a timer that is counting down to some sort of announcement tomorrow morning at 7 AM PST. As I already mentioned, it is curious to see Bethesda teasing the game already when E3 is less than two weeks away. We’re guessing whatever they announce tomorrow will probably end up being a teaser, leaving the full reveal for their press conference on Sunday June 14 at 7 PM PST.
What’s more is that the site’s source code includes a reference to Fallout 3’s Masterbrain. The text states, “PA system failure has occurred. Shutdown of the Masterbrain (pictured below) has been authorized and all sensitive materials have been removed for security purposes. Please attempt re-access. Have a pleasant day.”
As of right now, we don’t know much about Fallout 4 aside from the rumors that suggest that it’ll be taking place in Boston. If you’re familiar with the series, you’ll know the famous city is already a huge part of Fallout’s lore. Considering it’s been 7 long years since we’ve seen Bethesda’s Fallout franchise, it will definitely be interesting to see what they’ve done to the world.
