NYC Area Cosplayers: Wanna Be On “Just Cos”? Here’s How….

Hey, cosplayers in the New York metropolitan area! Here’s a message from the folks at the Nerdist Channel, who are looking for you — yes, YOU — to be on the next series of Just Cos. If you’re a serious cosplayer — if you work on your costume for New York Comic Con for months and try to get everything just right — and you’d be interested to letting the Nerdist Channel crew come to your home, come inside (they’re domesticated and housebroken, so it’ll all be okay), and get some video of you preparing your costume to tell your story on the show, it’s time to get in touch.

The pertinent details: The Nerdist Channel will be filming Just Cos during New York Comic Con on October 11th-14th. If you’re interested in being on the show and being shown at home getting your cosplay on, email a video that briefly shows where you live (what your home looks like, that is; it should be in New York City or the immediate suburbs), how you built your costume, and any challenges you might face cosplaying in the city to [email protected]. If you’re selected, you must be willing to allow the Nerdist film crew into your home to document your journey to Comic Con.

Time’s a-wastin’, so if you’re up for this, email us now, and good luck!

Can you submit if you’re a first time cosplayer?

  2. Dale says:

Just Cos should be going to some more areas than just the same places that they did last year. I mean there is way more than just Comic-con & Gallifrey 1. Journey into Otakon, Ohyaocon, Anime Expo, Colossalcon, and other such conventions around the us.

  3. Aimee says:

What if you been cosplaying for a long time but finally this year is the first time you make your cosplay from scratch and hand? can you still send a video? or you what veterans
