New Fleet Foxes Video Will Hug Your Brain

I love this friggin band. Their lilt-y chord changes and harmonies make my soul horny. That’s not weird, right?

Helplessness Blues comes out May 3rd.

  1. Heather says:

If you dig Fleet Foxes, it behooves me to recommend Ivan & Alyosha. Warm and yummy harmony, more guitar pop-y. (Oh, I confess I do have a personal interest, I still honestly love them.)

  2. Liz C. says:

Very Coldplay. I’m kind of in love…being female, I’ll swap the soul-boner for a soulgasm. XD

  3. AnaB says:

Exactly the kind of music I needed today! =)

  4. The2scoops says:

Looks like it was directed by Sean Pecknold, brother of Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold.

  5. Zach says:

The Fleet Foxes are great even though on sub pop, if its the same person who directed their last music videos I think its his brother or has some relation to robin, but no it is normal for this band to arouse one

  6. The2scoops says:

Yep, getting a soul boner. Has the same big cinematic effect on me as Sufjan Steven’s “Chicago”: you feel like driving into the horizon, windows down and music turned up. Broken Social Scene’s “You Forgot It In People” album has a lot of those moments too. Looking forward to the new Fleet Foxes album.

  7. Kristen says:

I love this band too! They make me feel what I think yoga instructors are always trying but failing to impart to me. I listen to them while I study and I swear it helps the knowledge seep into my brain better!

  8. Mack says:

Does anyone know who directed this?
