Nerdist’s Anjeanette Carter Makes Time Magazine’s ‘140 Best Twitter Feeds’ List

Okay, so Time Magazine did another edition of their “140 Best Twitter Feeds” list, and this year’s selections include a lot of familiar names, like John Hodgman, Simon Pegg, Stephen Fry, Bill Simmons, Peter Serafinowicz, and Xeni Jardin. Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, who has a show coming on the Nerdist Channel, is on there, as are recent podcast guests Danica McKellar, Baratunde Thurston, and Tim Heidecker.

Wait… right there between Steve Martin and Seth Myers… is that… yes, yes it is…

Our own Anjeanette Carter made the list! Wow!

Time’s Allie Townsend wrote of Anjeanette, “Blogger Anjeanette Carter is a regular contributor to the Nerdist, but we’re just a fan of her dry tweets. The aspiring actress isn’t afraid to let the sarcasm fly — and sometimes that’s just the sort of thing you need to pop up on your screen.”

Indeed. Although we’re fans of her Nerdist posts, too.

You can join the fun by following Anjeanette at @anjeanettec. She has over 16,500 followers, so she’s not exactly a secret anymore. And I’m not jealous, even though I… don’t have 16,500 followers. Maybe someday….
