The Division launched to overpopulated servers last week, becoming the second Tom Clancy game to release in several months. There was a lot of advertising, a lot of hype, and a lot of speculation about whether this game would live up to expectations. Ultimately, The Division went on to become Ubisoft’s fastest selling game ever. Was it deserving of such an accolade?
I’ll be breaking down the good and the bad of Ubisoft Massive’s new shooter looter on this week’s edition of Nerdist:Play. For an RPG in a very under-appreciated genre (tactical shooter), the studio seems to have found a access point for mainstream gamers. But that didn’t come without a far share of bumps in the road.
