A feature that’ll run every day during this week, Nerdist Week, at BBCAmerica.com’s Anglophenia blog is a series on “Five Nerdist Podcasts That Shook the World” — in other words, we didn’t want to pick the five best (because we kinda like ’em all), just five that represent milestones in the development of the show, a sort-of sampler for the general public to follow the long, storied history of… okay, “long” isn’t accurate and “storied” is in the eye of the beholder, but you get the idea.
So the first one is up today, and it’s about, naturally, the very first Nerdist Podcast, the one recorded on Super Bowl Sunday in 2010 with Thomas Lennon. You can read the post by clicking here, and, in case you never heard it or it’s been a while, listen to it here:
It’s come a long way in a year and three-quarters, but the first one’s good as it is. Wait, have I forgotten anything? Right, this: Watch the Nerdist TV show on Saturday, September 24th, 10 pm Eastern, on BBC America, and tell your friends to do the same. Thank you! We’ll be here all week.
