So glad I’m not the only weirdo who has podcasts they listen to “passively” verses “actively!” I can listen to “Pop Culture happy Hour” and “Slate Political Podcast” while doing exercises that require counting and attention, but I have to save “In Our Time” for the exercise bike when I can really pay attention. I actually take notes sometimes because I feel like I really need to know this stuff! And if you’d like another fun history-related podcast, try “Stuff You Missed in History Class!’

  2. Enohead says:

Everyone in that picture is dressed very smartly – except for Paul.  He dressed down a bit.  Seriously, I’m so excited about the new season. You’ve made me so happy, Bond!

  3. Misty Rowe says:

Excited to see Chris at Red Rocks! I’ve lived in Colorado for almost 20 years and have never been to Red Rocks, but the draw of Louis CK and Chris was too great to resist. This will be awesome.

  4. bridnig says:

Love that you guys follow Melvyn Bragg! I listened to the ‘Vacuum of Space’ ep while driving cross-country. Had to play it three times before I felt I got it.

  5. Wildride says:

We’re gonna make the sequel to Against All Odds but, for budgetary reasons, we have to do it as an episode of Doctor Who.  So, we’re calling it Against All Oods:

  6. bastien says:

Shutter Island?! I didn’t even open her mainland!

    Titans of riffing. Fatch.

  10. sydney says:

so excited that they are returning.  Patton Oswald as Richard Dawson on the Family Feud is comedy gold.  “Lawrence Welk’s balls” was one of the best lines.

  11. John says:

possibly the most hilarious bit I have ever heard with the old woman who is trying to sell the antique gravity.

  12. sydney [email protected] says:

I got a new job today. Still not as exciting as hearing PFT is joining Superego.

  13. Yes! God,I love these guys so much but, wait…. Where’s Crocker?! Where’s Jeffery “the rocker” Crocker?!

Did Paul F. have to beat him out of the gang?

  14. Three Toes of Fury says:

I was not sure my brain could fully process the awesomeness of this podcast without shutting down at least a few crucial life-providing organs within my body.   Buuut i couldnt resist, rolled the “life/death” dice,  and checked it out.
Sweet tap dancing hezeus this rocks.
Two of my all-time-favorite podcasts together!?! Its like recess peanut butter cups….only rather than combining peanut butter and chocolate,   its like combining recess peanut butter cups and burritos!   mmmmm.
Thanks Chris…absolutely hilarious show and wonderful news that PFT is joining forces with Superego AND new Superego is coming!  Woot!  Woot i say!!!
    Peace .n. Typo-schizo-disorder
PS:  AHH!  this podcast referenced Gene Simmons in the 80s movie Runaway!  He’s an awesome bad guy in that flick!!!

    • Three Toes of Fury says:

PS2:    AHHHH!!! i learned one additional item on this podcast.   jeremy carter will be making a Shunt McGuppin album!?!  AHHHHHH!!!    Shunt is one of the all time funniest things to exist,  thanks to podcasting.     For those of you unfamiliar with the Superego country album,  do yourself a favor and pick it up,  its called “Mount Us More” by The Journeymen.    Its brilliant.  Absolutely brilliant.
Peace .n. 18 Wheels Down the Road

  15. Illusion-XIII says:

Haven’t even listened yet.  Still squeeing over the announcement that PFT is joining Superego.  That’s like a comedy supernova!

  16. Ben Daniels says:

Best Friday Ever – I haven’t been this excited since the Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project ended.
