  1. Philip M says:

Waiting for the new band and self titled album “Shoes in the Dryer”.

  2. Best moment had to be Jonah tripping over his words after Chris pointed out his fandom. The telling of his Sleater-Kinney fan origin story stumbling into fan babble was something I can relate to. Btw The Woods is a great record!

  3. realtalk says:

white people giving undeserved credit to other white people for discovering white people music

  4. Pond says:

Jonah–  “The Hot Rock,” not “Hot Rocks.”

  5. mkb says:

    won’t download, and I don’t use iTunes….. please fix

  6. Nikki says:

I have been waiting for Sleater-Kinney to be on the podcast!! I love that Jonah is star struck during this interview hehe. The ‘No Cities to Love’ album is amazing 🙂

  7. Starbuck says:

Chris needs to put down the chai lattes his energy was about two notches too far away from everyone else.

  8. HereToStay says:

    Secret ending 😛

  9. Wildride says:

No #1 singles for Petty on the Hot 100 which is considered the chart of record in the US. He does have #1s on the rock charts, tho.
Also: (see website link for cat songs)

  10. Wildride says:

The fact that the sound of the song doesn’t alter when she is and isn’t “playing” the guitar during performances is kinda a clue that she’s miming. She really is making no effort to hit the right chords.

  11. Wildride says:

The Load Out/Stay by Jackson Browne: Perfect touring song.

  12. Patty Marvel says:

More excellent artwork by Dana Lechtenberg!

  13. David H says:

I’m not sure what the problem is but the download is at http://nerdist.libsyn.com/sleater-kinney

  14. Muthsarah says:

I’m trying to download this, but it won’t let me.  Right-clicking on the down-arrow button and choosing “Save Link As” only gives me an option to save as an HTML, not as an MP3.

Haven’t had this issue with any other podcasts I’ve been downloading over the last few months.
