  2. lern says:

Im sorry im not usually a hate spewer online, but as a person from Houston,I just wanted to say this show did not translate to podcast well at all. It is the only one of your podcasts that I actually turned off without finishing.

  3. @ICollectHobbies says:

iTunes tried to deny me this episode. I’m so glad I’m smarter than the magic internet box. Fuck you iTunes.

Thanks for the daily workout of laughing my ass off at my desk. I think it should be a requirement for Matt to be drunk in every future show. MAKE IT SO.

  4. Chris says:

Does anyone know the song playing at the very end of the podcast?

  5. JetpackBlues says:

Houston: Deep in the heart of Texas!

  6. Mr. Ex says:

I guess asking too many questions and being too long is the reason the Atlanta show never got posted. Bummer.

  7. ElBigote says:

    Gentlemen, and Jonah…

My hat is off to you. Fabulous podcast, and seriously, who knew drunk Matt was such a kick. He was about one more Saint Arnold away from ‘Gimli Drunk’.

  8. Martin says:

Matt sorry I can’t help you out with the Winston toy, I have a few (because as a kid my mom just got me the Winston toys) but they are all out of the pack.

  9. kevin says:

hearing matt drink way too much and jonah egg him on is probably the best thing to listen to once getting home after the first night in my 15 years that i got completely wasted out of my mind. gonna go listen to it again to see if i can remember what i did last night, ciao.

  10. Matt says:

  11. Rachel says:

Only the cool kids in my high school listen to Nerdist

  12. Rachel says:

Only the cool kids in my high school listen to Nerdist. So…me.

  13. Will McCoy says:

this was such as great show. i can’t wait to see you guys live again

  14. CJreye says:

Fuck yeah Matt, im glad I’m not the only nerd who hates Big Bang Theory… Fuck those guys right

PS: they are also remaking Red Dawn

  15. Dan says:

Matt can have my Ghostbusters Winston toy. It’s scratched, has dirt and some weird dark gum-like substance on it and none of the original parts like the Proton Pack, but he can have it. For a price…. muhahahaha

  16. Nico says:

Got to see slash hear this live and it was and still is amazing. I hope that the greatness of this show entices you to come down to Houston on the reg.

  17. David H says:

This episode just made me laugh so damn hard. As someone who’s worked as a teacher in the past, I could relate 100% with that part of it. Live hostfuls FTW!

  18. Andrew says:

    Great show guys!!!!
It was so much fun, great to meet you.

(And Chris, enjoy the Chai. I did NOT lose my job!!!!)

  19. toonsmyth says:

Another hilarious hostful. I felt like I was right there with you guys… Speaking of EXPLORERS, I was shocked – SHOCKED I tells you – When I discovered the voice of the alien was ST:Voyager’s own Robert Picardo. Doubly shocked when I found out he also played the witch Mucklebones in Legend. MAN that guy’s got RANGE!

You guys probably knew all this already, but I thought I’d share just in case. Thanks to all you who liked my Nerdist title card submission last episode. This podcast has the nicest and the coolest commenters in the whole wide interweb!

  20. Kimberly says:

Absolutely loved this episode guys; the live ones are always great.
Also, the legal age in California is 18:

  21. Vincent S says:

As always, it is hard for me to never love this podcast. Even though alot of the current podcasts have been fan-bloody-tastic, I’ll just add this complimentary belly rubbing comment of likes as an overall thanks for the past XX episodes (compliment bulk dump, here). Keep up the globe-domination-B-plan* Nerdist crew.

*”A-plan” fell through in a drunken haze in the Single Out era…

  22. Justin says:

Dagobahlsamic Vinaigrette! Yes? No? Ok, fine.

  23. Li says:

Is audience shouting-out okay now? Great show otherwise, but the audience seemed kind of awful.

  24. christiaan tolentino says:

    yes! my birthday present! 🙂

  25. Aticus says:

Fantastic. Thanks again for another free good time people.

  26. amysrevenge says:

    Fun as always gang.

Because everyone cares, my concurrent forward and backward jaunt through the podcast archive had me listening to the Muppets interview immediately before this one. Made for a nice afternoon.

  27. I swear Jonah or Matt sounds like Doug Benson..

  28. Patty Marvel says:

Ahem – when *I* was in high school, we shouted “Fuck your balls off” during “Mony Mony.” Much better line.

  29. Wildride says:

“Man, those Ghostbusters are just a bunch of proton packers!”

  30. Curtis says:

    POPULATION: Me Crying!

    Oh Jonah, you slay me.

  31. MikeSol says:

Hey Darth I’m with you in that feeling, me and my friend drove up (late) and as we were told no tickets i heard booming laughter and that was the punch to the gut. 🙁

  32. Trey says:

Thanks for the Dallas show, guys. It was the most I’ve laughed in a really long time.

I will check this out as soon as I can. My podcast listening ability has been severely limited.

  33. Will says:

Great Show!!! Come to TX and drink beer in front of Chris again any time!!

  34. Darth Kratos says:

I was in line for this, but I didn’t get in because I’m an idiot for not buying the tickets online.

  35. This was a GREAT show you guys. Thanks again for coming to town.

P.S. – I still maintain that you should have titled the episode “Is That Racist?”
