I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same outcome. Alec says: May 23, 2013 at 1:29 pm Learning that Matt smokes was even more distressing than hearing about all the crazy juice cleanse stuff he was trying. Stay healthy, Mira! Liam says: May 22, 2013 at 10:16 am I don’t understand the argument that Jonah’s a hypocrite. Making fun of someone’s clothes in a way they’ll never find out about isn’t the same as seeking someone out to tell them you hate what they do. By the way, Mumford & Sons are posh kids from England. The whole Celtic folk thing is a total affectation. Not that it’s necessarily wrong for people to borrow styles from other cultures, but a lot of people dislike them in the UK for being “fake” Mark S. says: May 21, 2013 at 1:57 pm RE: Tacoma and glass … Dale Chihuly is one of the worlds most respected glass artists and is from Tacoma. Frankly I think he’s a hack, but still, Tacoma has that, crime, and the smell of a papermill … I understand their desire to claim Chihuly. Wildcat says: May 21, 2013 at 9:14 am That was the best sudden unexpected ending EV Mike says: May 21, 2013 at 8:45 am I am one of the players at the Dueling Piano bar you guys mentioned. I would like to thank you guys for not trashing our gig. Means a lot. None of us can figure out why bachelorettes have to be nasty all over Baby Got Back either. Tragic, weird, and sometimes gross. But hey, beats digging ditches for a living. I am enjoying my burrito. Ura Snotball says: May 21, 2013 at 7:40 am Looks like you got a little more C-Man in your eye there, Jon. That’s gotta sting. If that’s even true then good on you. You’ve chosen a noble profession. But do us all a favor and save the douchy pick up lines for drunk chicks at singles bars. Comedy is subjective. Subjectivity is a good thing; it leaves things open for discussion and everyone gets to have their own opinion. (Attractiveness, for example, is subjective which is good for you because if it weren’t I can guarantee you’d die a virgin.) When self important jackasses like you come in and start spouting your opinions as if they’re facts, it spoils everyone else’s good time. There are plenty of podcasts in which the hosts are rude jackasses just like you, and this podcast is the antithesis of your entire personality. Maybe go listen to something else. C-Man says: May 21, 2013 at 6:22 am @Jon Based on your grammar, I assume you’ve killed more than saved. Jon says: May 20, 2013 at 7:55 pm Yeah nothing special. I just save people’s life for a living. You know, things that do matter in the real world. And yes, Louis do get trolled. Because he is amazing. In Jonah’s case they are accurate comments. He being mediocre comic at best. By the way, I’m an asshole 24/7. It’s not a persona. Dec says: May 20, 2013 at 4:48 pm @Chris Thank you good sir, I appreciate that. I meant the comment more as a “I don’t want to get into an argument with trolls” thing. Also I’m bummed I didn’t get to see you in London, especially cos I’m just across the waters in Ireland. Hope you’ll come back at some stage! Michael says: May 20, 2013 at 11:55 am Mira! Thanks so much for talking about CPAP in a POSITIVE manner. Like Erica I also spend my days analyzing sleep studies and voraciously consuming podcasts. Its always great hearing someone actually talk about CPAP because most people get too intimidated or embarrassed to even mention it even if the difference was dramatic. LOVE the show, haven’t missed an episode yet! tomK says: May 20, 2013 at 9:06 am I wish Hardwick would stop trying to remind us he’s a real comic. <3 Chris says: May 20, 2013 at 8:10 am mumford & wubs Michelle says: May 20, 2013 at 7:42 am Awww…they mentioned “Talking Dead” on NPR this morning…. http://www.npr.org/2013/05/20/185458147/tv-shows-still-rely-on-word-of-mouth soo cool to hear Chris Hardwick at work over the speakers! Chris Hardwick says: May 20, 2013 at 6:51 am @Dec: don’t feel bad for expressing an opinion! you did it in a very nice, respectful way. we can always get on board polite discourse! Gwynneth says: May 19, 2013 at 8:43 pm Enjoyed this podcast. Also, thanks to Kyle for doing an awesome job in Seoul on Friday night. It was awesome to see him in person! Pajama bottles! Dec says: May 19, 2013 at 6:18 pm Great podcast, Kinane seems a really cool guy. Mira’s dozen, love it. Jonah is actually my favourite comic of the 3. Chris and Matt are just as funny but I relate to his stuff most and like the way he presents it. Just an opinion, take it or leave it but don’t reply or anything like that… Yay internet commenter fun, wheeeeee! Ura Snotball says: May 19, 2013 at 1:40 pm @Jon C-man is 100% right. If anyone should drop the asshole persona because they’ve never done anything special it’s you, big guy. If I were you I’d proofread my comment next time and take out any unintentionally ironic statements along with any instances of the nonexistent word “get’s”. And if you think Louis C.K. doesn’t get trolled then you need to finally admit that you have a serious problem, put down the crack pipe, and get yourself some help. Denial of an addiction to substances that destroy massive amounts of brain cells with each dose can be a deadly thing, sir, and I wouldn’t want to see it damage you any more than it clearly already has. Trevor Green says: May 19, 2013 at 11:05 am Right at the end, when it cut off, you were talking about stress, and I was already stressed, and I felt like you were going to tell me how to handle the stress, then the podcast cut off, and you abruptly left me alone with my stress. Stressful. Deep Breaths…. maybe I need to go get a Mira’s dozen. Maybe that was the message. Marcus J says: May 19, 2013 at 8:24 am I’ve been waiting for 357 episodes for this to happen. Thank you. jamison says: May 19, 2013 at 7:40 am Hey Matt you need to get closer to Jonah… he’s the best! C-Man says: May 19, 2013 at 7:15 am @Jon Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddd neither have you! Jon says: May 19, 2013 at 6:36 am Well, Jonah should drop the asshole persona if he is so sensitive about what people say about him on the internet. And about trolls, sorry but he is not Louis C.K. The reason Jonah get’s trolled is because he has never done anything special. “So let’s talk about drinking”, really? Jack M says: May 18, 2013 at 4:42 am Great episode. I love the ones that feel like a hostful but have a guest joining in on the fun. Sean says: May 17, 2013 at 7:56 pm awwww yeeeeeeeeeeeeee Doug says: May 17, 2013 at 6:01 pm “Two trucks of suck crashing into each other,” had me almost spit water all over my computer. Knowlsedge is Power says: May 17, 2013 at 4:42 pm Remember, Jonah. It’s just one reactionary dude. Not the entire internet. Beyonce. And also remember that when it comes to comedy, if nobody’s offended then it’s probably not very funny. Anyone who’s ever actually spoken with you knows that you’re the exact opposite of an asshole. agentofn0thing says: May 17, 2013 at 4:09 pm If you want to see a different side of the AV Club Comments, check out the DS9 boards. Mostly, it’s people sharing ideas and insights about Star Trek, and people trying to make others laugh. Often times, a little of both. Also, Rappin_Jake_Sisko, who is pretty much the greatest thing ever. bastien says: May 17, 2013 at 2:31 pm So no one better tell Jonah Ray he sucks, but Jonah publicly shaming strangers’ for the clothes they choose to wear and calling them an idiot for it is A-OK. Way to be a massive hypocrite, Jonah. I don’t care if you do crop out their faces, it still makes you an asshole. Erica says: May 17, 2013 at 1:45 pm Hi guys!! I’ve listened to the Nerdist podcast every day for 2 years while I score (analyze) sleep studies, so it really melts my brain to hear you guys talking about CPAP and sleep studies while I’m looking at them. Just an FYI: CPAP is ridiculously amazing. As only one example, I’ll see patients that have bad heart arrhythmias, and a lot of the time if we put a CPAP mask on someone during that recording, their heart problems will dramatically decrease during the night. Anyway, enough rambling. Love you all!! Wildride says: May 17, 2013 at 1:40 pm Shutterstock.com: Yes — We have that B-roll! Kevin says: May 17, 2013 at 1:16 pm Kinaaaaaane!!!! Chicago!
