"Borrowed Time" Is What Pixar Animators Make on Their Days off

  1. Theresa Burge says:

Mila Kunis was in the American Psycho sequel, along with William Shatner (I think).

  2. just me says:

Chris – just to let you know, it’s not often taught in Japanese language books but don’t say “watashi” – that’s how a woman says “I.” Men either say “boku” or “ore.” Ore sounds a bit tougher and boku a bit softer.

    • Suzaku says:

Watashi is appropriate for formal situations, such as introductions.

Ore can come across as rude and boku is usually considered childish or cutesy, and should both be reserved for informal situations or only when you want to convey a sense of masculinity or youth.

  3. Edwin says:

Is it me or did it seem like she totally wanted Chris’s “D”. 1st Date bowling night.

  4. She needs to reprise Chloe and show up in Selfie periodically. The vibe is so similar between the two shows.

  5. Big Dummy says:

    She’s just fantasticReally good show

  6. I cannot (CANNOT) stress how awesome it would be if you could get green day or the offspring on the podcast. I WILL PAY YOU! Not a lot, but if you even try, you might find some change under your pillows!    ðŸ˜€

  7. Kevin says:

FYI mila Kunin starred in the American psycho sequel

  8. Stephen Dias says:

The Juice Jacket sounds like if you take a stillsuit (from Dune) and fill it with juice. I think that’s brilliant.

  9. The One Who Knocks says:

Was this recorded in a bathroom with a tape recorder?

  10. Jim says:

Awesome guest, very entertaining.Pretty cringeworthy comments section here, wow. She’s in a relationship with someone & preparing to move him into her house.  “she’s hitting on you” and “ask her out”… wtf is wrong with you people?  it’s like a pack of 13 year old boys in here.

  11. frankmint says:

I felt I was listening in on a couple’s first date. It seems I was not alone.

  12. ericmci says:

Chris- honestly.  You need to stay in this girl’s orbit.  Because she seriously could turn out to be the woman you marry.  I mean- it’s really= really all there.

    • Harry says:

Ow yeah! I felt it too chris! ;D

    • Clueless Neophyte says:

Yeah, when she was talking about inviting guests onto the podcast just to ask them out, asking them out for bowling, etc., didn’t it seem like she was talking about herself?  If she hadn’t dropped those comments about her boyfriend later, I would have sworn there was some flirting going on there….

      • ericmci says:

Consciously or subconsciously I think she was testing the waters a bit.  Even if – no  I say there is tremendous compatibility/potential here.

  13. Oh yes, american psycho the series. Would watch the shit out of that.

  14. Baby Sprite says:

It’s cool to hear someone who starts out as a drop-dead gorgeous model, proves herself to be a competent actor, then starts her own production company. She’s funny, smart, courageous, totally cool, not fake and not flake.

  15. Devin says:

Mila Kunis = American Psycho 2

  16. Jeremy says:

Aw, adorable!  Y’all were totally out of your comfort zones and it turned out fine!  See?  It’s okay to do person-type-things and have feeling-like-stuff going on!  The worst that’ll happen is people will continually call attention to it in an embarrassing fashion or you’ll develop a stalker, like my barista has.  MY barista.  Mine.

  17. maddie says:

Im a sag cusp baby too, nov 22nd. I know astrology isnt real life but Chris is the total sag stereotype. But sags rule 🙂

  18. Reen Roberts says:

She is totally hitting on you! Screw the boyfriend…DUDE Ask her out already!!!!!

  19. Shawn says:

hey the juice they were drinking, was it Kamboucha? Because it smells slightly vinegary and does fizz… Just saying, maybe threw away a perfectly good juice if it was, but hey, better safe than sorry I suppose – love the podcast and a balanced digestive system.

  20. Bianca says:

Oh Chris, how much are you digging her? 😉

    • Ben says:

It was like overhearing some guy’s persistent pickup attempt at a bar.  I found myself make a “cringe face” more than once during this episode.

      • Bianca says:

Honestly, she sounds like the type of girl he would like, minus the stuff he’s ex is into, but too bad she has a man already. She’s super cute and he’s adorable. You never know… 🙂

      • Clueless Neophyte says:

Really?  It didn’t seem to me so much that he was flirting with her as that SHE was flirting with HIM!

        • LJ says:

At first I thought everyone was just fanboying/girling, but yeah, I hope she knows how flirtatious she was being. There’s actually another radio show/podcast (Loveline) where the host married a guest. It can happen!

  21. Chris says:

I would watch that “American Psycho” TV show! We need a new Dexter type show… but with consistent writers. And BTW, jealousy shows itself in many ways, Joe.

  22. Joe says:

“You get what you want.” Krysten should really take a step back and think about why she is not the person to be dispensing this advice.
