Love the podcast but how do you NOT talk about Veronica Mars coming up next year! He is in it! Vinnie Vanloe all the way. :) Also no mention of Reaper . . LOVED that show. Your killing me! Lol. I know I know you can’t talk about everything, but I at least thought that a Veronica mention would be there. Lol. Alright enough of my whining about something that wasn’t on a FREE thing. Bring him back though if you can to talk about VM. I would love it and he was a fun guest. Keep up the good work.
Oh and one more thing Chris if you are listening, I saw on twitter you and Kristen Bell coming on. Is that still going to happen? It would be amazing if you could. She is from my neck of the woods and I absolutely love her. If you do, would love to her about her living in Michigan! :)

Speaking of The Onion, their series ‘Sex House’ never got the respect it deserved.

  4. @Mae: hm…which part? I don’t remember these things. OH you mean MTV money? True the majority of the world makes less than $60 but they also don’t lose most of their income to representatives. $60k was the gross. It was actually about $30k a year net (maybe a little less) after agent, manager, lawyer commissions and taxes. I was also contractually not allowed to work on anything else to supplement my income. When you consider how much money that show made and that it was their highest rated show, it’s kind of funny that my take-home was pretty close to what I was making parking cars when I quit to work for MTV. I guess it would make a lot more sense if you were in our line of work. To a non-industry person I imagine it does sound douchey, but at the time it was very very far below industry standard. I just think it’s funny because people tended to think (maybe not so much anymore) that if you were on TV every day you were a millionaire and had a glammy lifestyle. Nope!

Btw, not complaining, just explaining! I appreciate it and wouldn’t have done anything differently.

  5. Mae says:

Loved this podcast….but just a friendly reminder that the majority of Americans/the world make way less thank 60k a year. I know you guys weren’t trying to sound like dicks but you did come off sounding like elite douches :(

  6. amysrevenge says:

Good episode. I like ones that go waay back because I’m old. Not like “Hardwick old”, but approaching it…

  7. Three toes of Fury says:

    .
@Esteben…..HILARIOUS. I totally cackled at your comment.

  8. michaelscott says:

I would love a full interview of Bruce Gutter and PTJ. I think that would be hysterical.

And Ken Marino will always be a gay demon turned angel to me. Loved him on Reaper, and Burning Love, and tons of everything else.

  9. Esteben says:

After listening to the podcast the context of Ken holding a firehose in his picture becomes a lot clearer.

  10. Flatulator says:

    You just got seeded, sol-dier!

  11. Wildride says:

“The thoughts of two Twitter-verified celebrities could not possibly interest the likes of you.” – That Roman parallel world guy on Star Trek, whatever his name is.

  12. three toes of fury says:

    Toto eh?

  13. @Tom Steele: that made me laugh a lot.

  14. NotMF says:

The astronaut sounded like it was Mike Massimino, he’s done Neil Tyson’s podcast StarTalk several times and has been on the Big Bang Theory.

  15. Nicole says:

I can’t believe you only talked about the movie “In a World” for about five seconds. It’s still in theaters, Ken had a major role and was fantastic (and pretty sculpted *ahem*) in it, and it’s one of the most intelligent comedies I’ve seen in a long, long time. Do your due diligence next time, guys!

  16. Spencer says:

Who was the astronaut in episode in the beginning?

  17. Reid Nystrom says:

    A Jo-Mira-Chri intro! It’s Virtual Insanity!

  18. reid Nystrom says:

I have only listened to the first 15 secs of the intro, but I had to comment. I really enjoy the hostful intros! (Well, MattWick intros) #stamps.com/WTF
    Yah MiraBooey!

  19. DC says:

more matt mira in the intros please

  20. Paul says:

    @Josh – Diggers was a good movie!

  21. Nichole says:

My mental image for Bruce Gutter is and always has been Brian Posehn

    Josh “Sexman” Hutcherson

  22. Three Toes of Fury says:

    .
Im gonna dip my balls in it.
    .

  23. Kristoffer says:

Remember Ken played the gay Demon on the TV series Reaper. He’s a great actor.

  24. Josh says:

Anyone else really love his movie Diggers? an underrated flick.

  25. Tom Steele says:

Hold the line! Poop isn’t always on time!

  26. Chad David says:

I really wanted the “Toto bidet” to be a toilet themed after the rockband “Toto”. Like it just plays songs, probably muffled, while you poo.

  27. Matt Costa says:

I took a poop this morning at a local grocery stire and felt very sad.
