  1. yat says:

Such a beautiful woman.Love the manner in which she laughs whole heartedly.

  2. Laz says:

    Wow! She’s brilliant IRL.

I was hoping Hardwick would mention her work in Kyle XY. I enjoyed her part on that TV show and look forward to seeing her as Sif.

  3. brisa says:

    this is freaking funny…love her

  4. Jorge says:

Why do you sound so profoundly unhappy when you have to announce that you’re going to be at the South Beach Comedy Festival? I am absolutely ecstatic at the prospect of finally getting to see you live in my hometown. Probably the only time too, from the sound of it.

Bought the tickets the second they were available.

  5. Ross says:

These stick-figure women are not a product of the general male population’s tastes; the men who insist on those body types are in the fashion industry, and almost never have the same interest, shall we say, in women’s bodies.
While some of these standards are changing, it’s disappointing that such a visible brand as Victoria’s Secret has moved from women like Jill Goodacre–who, while certainly a winner in the genetic lottery, was definitely no stick-figure–to the typical, emaciated pipe cleaner models.

  6. Rob S. says:

My mom met a 30 yr old grandmother once.

  7. Karin says:

Great Interview! What a good role model both you and Jamie are for young adults.

Chris you need to stop beating yourself up over the Harrison Ford. Check out his interview on the BBC Graham Norton show, talk about awkward!

  8. Alex says:

Jaimie Alexander is magical and amazing

  9. Mmaves says:

LOVED the discussion about my generation’s “classic cartoons”. Watched all of those – if they’d have brought up Rocko’s Modern Life, I’d have swooned…

  10. Ray Pavan says:

I have been listening to min 45 to min 55 over and over again for the past 14 hours and I still laugh like crazy… they might think I’m crazy at the office… GREAT EPISODE!!!

  11. Kristine T says:

Ha! Love the teen-hood room decor. I think I had everything BUT the Jnco jeans.

  12. atomsmith says:

@Chris, slipping and sliding around the basketball court? You weren’t wearing bowling shoes, were you?

  13. So hot. Great show, yo.

    Thanks… I had a lovely time.

  14. Kathy D says:

Ah, now I feel like popping in my DVD’s of the final season of KyleXY…

  15. BassBone says:

@Gorkamorka Her hairstyle choices are her own. Are you one of those troglodytes who believe that women can only be feminine with long hair? Let go of your ancient patriarchal ideas and realize that femininity is not yours to define.

  16. VeraSchrankung says:

I am going to hold my breath until she is cast as Wonder Woman. SHE IS Wonder Woman. A Wonder Woman who can quote Ren and Stimply. Le Sigh. Le Swoon.

  17. -Di. says:

The South Beach Diet is a variation on the Atkins Diet. Basically its another high protein low carbohydrate diet.

  18. Mr Advil says:

So what exactly is a South Beach Diet?

  19. Candice Cummings says:

Gaaaahh, this episode choked me up a bit. When Jamie was talking about helping girls who have been a part of human trafficking and just talking to people about loving their bodies is so inspiring. I’m so impressed she’s using her influence to change stereotypes and help people be the best versions of themselves.

  20. Kinda disappointed that Kyle XY was never brought up, you guys.

  21. TJ says:

too add to the list: Samurai Jack was amazing

  22. Arabrabbra says:

@Chris, I’m crying at work. I was bullied for being fat my entire life. Even into adulthood. Never had any friends. By some miracle the most popular, gorgeous girl at my Catholic school befriended me in 7th grade. So I was invited to the big party w the cool kids! Of course, they decided to play spin the bottle. I was so thrilled when it landed on me! Finally, my first kiss! Marco looked at the bottle, looked at me, and in front of both 7th grade classes said, “I’m not kissing that fat pig”…I’m still traumatized to this day. I thought I was the only “loser” that that could have happened to. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your story. You really, really don’t know how much that touched me.

  23. Alex says:

Jamie sounds like a girl I would have crushed on all through High School. Can’t wait till next weeks show!

  24. Jr. says:

Beating around the hardwood floors. Thanks for that.

  25. charlie says:

    That’s classic Tammy

  26. Cody says:

    She is beyond awesome.

  27. Laura says:

I loved her on the podcast! She was really funny and awesome. What she said about body image and health was really interesting. New fan! Hadn’t really looked for much about her as a real person other than her work.
Fun interview! Made my hour long commute to work insanely pleasant! :)

  28. Michael Noble says:

I have a new found awe in Jamie Alexander…besides, she’s Hawt!

  29. Scully says:

The fitness thing exactly! I am struggling with the same thing because I love doing awesome circusy stuff but when I think about the fact that I am going to a gym it triggers a bit of self loathing. Somewhere along the line in my mind the only people who exercised were preoccupied with appearance or were so boring they couldn’t think of anything better to do. Obviously not true since at the last check I was the same nerd fueled person as before I started training. I have spent the last year trying to reconcile this in my brain. It’s like a weird dual membership that has left me feeling an outside in both groups.

    Great interview btw

  30. Thunderbird says:

The “Disney sniper” bit had me laughing out loud at my desk. Nice job! :)

  31. Bradford Richardson says:

    Total NERD-GASMIC fun!!

    Now, where’s my Spyder-Comb?

  32. Nikki says:

Jaimie seems so badass and awesome – I want to be her friend! I loved when Chris did the impression of Jaimie’s prom date.
I also had JNCOs, Jaimie! Haha

  33. Gorkamorka says:

Saw Jamie Alexander got the horrible pixie haircut and was all

Great interview that went in some interesting and unexpected directions.

  35. J.Smith says:

So will Friday’s episode also be with a super hot chick?

  36. NotMF says:

I can’t wait for her to appear on Agents of SHIELD.

Also, her episode of It’s Always Sunny is super funny.

  37. JarUle says:

There is a lot of really profound stuff in this, Jaimie is a fantastic guest. Hit on some great subjects and great overall conversation.

  38. GuanoLad says:

Michelle Monaghan, and then her lookalike Jaimie Alexander? I mean who next, Ally Sheedy?

  39. tsujoi says:

Oh man, that was really good. I hope she becomes a returning guest.

  40. W4rheart says:

    *Woman….fucking auto correct.

  41. W4rheart says:

Jaimie Alexander you’re so awesome. You should be Wonder Women……..go highlander that shit from Gal Gadot.
