That 2-hander scene in the interrogation room with Odenkirk and Freeman was the best thing on television in 2014. I can’t believe how good that was. Thank you for that, Mr. O!

  2. his agent character sounds kind of like cosby.

He definitely hasn’t heard that one before.

    • Chris says:

What’s sad is that you’re on his page, trolling.  Him–a very successful guy with more irons in the fire than you’ll ever have and who we all love, being trolled by you.  If you don’t like it, go somewhere else.

  4. Rebecca says:

When Bob read excerpts from his book, all I could hear was Fred Willard. I’m wasn’t really impressed with the content but once I made the connection, imagining Willard reading it aloud made it funnier.

The best part of this interview for me was the idea that Bob and David hope to revive Mr. Show next year on HBO for its 20th anniversary. I thought Chris’s excitement was about that announcement rather than about Bob’s dramatic acting. Still, the discussion of Better Call Saul makes me hopeful that show will capture some of the same magic as Breaking Bad.

By far, the best part of that interview was the “MLK’s Worst Speech” excerpt from his new book. I was a little bored by most of the interview, and especially by Bob Odenkirk explaining every goshdarn time how the unabridged quotes worked, but that excerpt was almost worth the whole interview,
