  1. Beth Kaelin says:

Hostfuls shall always remain my favorite Nerdist podcast episodes. Keep up the hilarious work guys!

  2. Erin says:

Hey Jonah, say this and thought of this podcast:

Might be safer than doing it yourself

  3. SketchyTK says:

    Just an FYI for Jonah:

I had my wisdom teeth removed back in 2003 and have not had any nerve damage or post-surgery issues.

The nerve damage risk from having your wisdom teeth removed is a minimal risk. It scared me when the dental surgeon told me about possible nerve damage, but the surgery went well.

Keep those sockets moist and get well soon!

  4. setlasmon says:

oh wait… not the bassline. the synthy part!

I say legal move. and one of the greatest basslines of all time is still theirs.

  5. setlasmon says:

I just realized that where I had “just heard” that Spacehog stole the riff… was from the very first comment of this thread!

yay, Mark! yay, pot! good times…

  6. Carson says:

Late to the comments party, but CHRIS, SHHHHHHH….. don’t ever let out the secret of Elbow. Then everyone will start to listen to them, and enjoy them, and cuddle them, and and…. SHHHHHHH……

  7. Donna D says:

THANKS for an amazing hostful!! Jonah made me laugh till I cried. You guys are the best! 😀

  8. setlasmon says:

yes, Jonah, there is still a Spacehog. they played Brooklyn Bowl last month,. I asked my wife if she wanted to go and she made fun of me.

also I just heard that the bass riff was “borrowed” from another artist. =>|

  9. BiL says:

No show notes? How am I going to find that most awesome Beyonce cover?

  10. Matt Grandis says:

This folically challenged male doubts the validity of such claims for reasons of personal experience.

  11. PaulinePumpkinseed says:

You’re right Chris, Nurses are keepers…as long as the guy doesn’t expect us to take care of them all the time. Plus, we’re very independent , knowledgeable about the workings of bodies AND could remove your skin tags in the privacy of you own home! Listening to a Hostful podcast has become a bit of a Sunday Morning tradition here at the Pumpkin Ranch. Thanks guys! Oh yes, my Nurse pals want all men to know: Most Women Like Men with Bald Heads!
There’s something about the smoothness of a natural bald head …oh… I’d better stop at that…(Nurses can also be a little nasty)

  12. Tobor the Great says:

    That is, Joel Veitch.

  13. Tobor the Great says:

Elbow gave me nightmares, that is before he/they or a blatant imitator started doing Quiznos commercials. Only then could I give voice to my horror in screaming.

  14. Kass says:

I love Jonah. And how much Jonah appreciates Beyonce. That made my morning, in the best way.

  15. JE Smith says:

…little did I know actually listening to the podcast would answer my question! :-0

  16. JE Smith says:

So does the fact that you now have Katie as your uber-recording-babe mean that you’re no longer recording the podcast on CDs? ;-p

  17. three toes of fury says:

sweet gravy, Matt, do you literally loose something everytime you travel?

    Joke notebook – check.

    Ipad – check

    Glasses – check

guitar – check….well, ok, you didnt loose that while traveling, but rather in your own place.

  18. Megan says:

Todd Solondz podcast!! Awesome, can’t wait!!

    Thanks for another great podcast!!!!

  19. M says:

You can easily remove a skin tag by having someone take dental floss and tie it around the base of the skin tag (not getting too close to the base so it won’t leave a scare) and within 2 days it will fall off. I’ve done it before, but not to my BF’s balls, and apparently it didn’t hurt more than a few seconds pinch.

  20. Michelle says:

    Feel better Jonah!!!
I was geeking out with Matt during his Tennant interview, so cute!!!
Katie is adorable, the intros are great and I appreciate the wonderful free entertainment I get every week 🙂 I’m sure it sucks when Chris has to ban people but just think, that guy not only fails on the interwebs but also in real life.

    Thanks for the podcast!

  21. bsg says:

Going to Vegas in 2 weeks? Are you going to Classic Gaming Expo? You should interview David Crane.

  22. PlatinumRespect says:

one of the absolute funniest episodes i have ever listened to! i always enjoy these! keep it up guys!

    jonah, feel better.
matt, host AOTS full time! <3

  23. JetpackBlues says:

@ Matt Grandis: “I’m not gay, but my boyfriend is!” 😀

  24. @Chris Hardwick: You are awesome.

    @Matt get in line!!! 😉

    My shortest comment/post here evah!

  25. Patty Marvel says:

@lookleftandsmile – It exists! At least, it does on Twitter.

  26. lookleftandsmile says:

inspirational ballz poster rant was classic! someone seriously needs to make them.

  27. Patty Marvel says:

@Chris Hardwick – :HUGS: Fittingly, some of us CUNT Twitter buddies were discussing birthdays and anniversaries on Sunday and the anniversary of your sobriety came up. I cannot imagine the “intestinal fortitude” it takes to do what you do. Speaking as a fan, I’m glad you’re sticking to that decision because we wouldn’t get as much cool stuff from you otherwise. 😉 Speaking as a human being, I’m just glad. Again, :HUGS:

  28. Vincent S says:

While I found drugged Jonah to be hilarious, I also felt bad for him right at the end. Get well soon, Jonah.
