  1. Carlos Perez says:

For how can this be? For he IS the Kwisatz Haderach!

  2. Malonish says:

Another uninformed person going “GMOs ARE EVIL!!1!” when there are literally thousands of papers, almost half independently funded, that say no they aren’t and zero credible ones that say they are. Inb4 Seralini’s shiat.

    • Greg says:

GMOs……All I have to say is man up, read the book Wheat Belly……and stop being Big Corp’s Bitch.

  3. daniel says:

what is the reality tv show he was talking about called?

  4. Andrew says:

You made my day Chris saying you love the viola. Played it up through college and a little after it. Thanks for the viola love.

  5. Greg says:

Chris, you are truly a genius and clearly a man of good character.  Your idea for an ‘accountability starter’ website is something the whole world needs.  Weight loss and exercise systems run a similar concept but in more of a support system method rather than say an AA format.   POINTS!  You paid your child support this month.

  6. Erika says:

The “shamestarter” website exists, it’s called stickk.com . Just FYI!

  7. Arabrabbra says:

Wow, apparently everyone took their negative pills and decided to shit on a free podcast today! Funny BC I have heard from my Dr most of what she said. So…maybe you guys aren’t as informed as you think you are…? Mayyyyyyyybeeeee??????????

  8. boscoman says:

Yeah, man!! Keep raging against the Chris Hardwick Machine, man! You’re doing valuable work, here.

  9. John Voorheis says:

Oh Christ with the GMO talk. Bad nerds. You lose 11 points.

  10. Jessica says:

(Along with the Freakonomics suggestion) If you want a little more info about commitment devices and behavioral economics:
    http://nudges.org/tag/commitment-strategies/

(Among other things, there may exist an alarm clock that shreds money.)

  11. Sebastian says:

That Ben Folds episode you guys referenced was iconic for me! I’m so glad Ms. Witt is working with Ben! (Also, if you guys could do that private concert (that thousands partook in) with him again, I might die of happiness)

Thanks for introducing me to another great artist

  12. Kerry says:

Alicia Witt, you are a great actress but you are not a scientist. Please don’t spout nonsense garbage about genetics like you know what you’re talking about. You don’t.

  13. English Dave says:

    As opposed to annoying cunts?

  14. Jerry says:

There’s an old Freakonomics podcast about commitment devices, some of which are websites where you essentially bet against people to break/keep certain behaviors: http://freakonomics.com/2012/02/08/freakonomics-poll-have-you-tried-a-commitment-device/ Check it out :)

  15. Matt Semmler says:

More importantly, what is it like being the younger sister of the Kwisatz Haderach?  How hard was it to break spice addiction?

    • Greg says:

I’m still eye-dropping two grams a day.  Hey, they call it the water-of-life for a reason people.  Damn you Spiiiiiiice!  You can say one thing for House Atreides though…..They may have kept the spice supply tight, but they never stepped on it like those asshole Harkonens. Also, stay clear of the Juice of Sapho….I went on a six day binder and ended up swimming naked in the fountain at the Bellagio after a hot streak counting cards at the black jack tables.  Apparently my brain cracked….I wigged out and started run-strippng while screaming something about plasma fires inside my skin conduits and I that had to put them out or the ship would explode.  On the plus side, using the remote satellite campus app that I drug-binder-coded, I somehow graduated summa cum laude from MIT with a math degree.

  16. terminalmage says:

Oh look, another actor that thinks he/she is qualified to give diet advice!

    • Greg says:

Look…..On the ‘Paltrow Scale’ where Gwyneth Paltrow equals 100 percent douche.  Alicia Witt falls easily within the 10P range, equating to “casual sharing of lifestyle choices….minor critiquing of the food industry… and humorous self-depreciation”.   Sir, we here at Paltrow Watch grant immunity status and full qualification to Ms. Witt to speak as she wishes on the subject of diet.  And also Sir, we are concerned for you as your Rush Limbaugh rating is pushing the 40R range…..specifically “general oversensitivity to and exaggeration of, information not listened to once personal confirmation bias is ever-so-slightly breached”.  Careful Sir, if you don’t keep your Rush Rating in check…..you may find yourself in the “pejorative hyperbole” range before you know it. And depending on how much whining and double-cunt-downing you do, for be called out for your crap….your lifelong Ann Coulter rating goes up permanently.   Paltrow Watch — Lensing out Douchebags Til Underverse Comes.
