Hideo Kojima’s critically acclaimed and final Metal Gear outing is in stores today! And what better way to spend post-PAX than kicking off the holiday season of video games? We’re certain to see a crap-ton of easter eggs in Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, some of which are likely to hint at Kojima’s overall frustration with Konami. This week on Nerdist: Play, we’ll recount some of the weirdest moments in Metal Gear Solid franchise history. Is there a moment in the series that stands out to you as the most ridiculous? Do you have any idea what the statement “I need scissors, 61” means? Stealth dive into the comments with your thoughts down below.
