The Order 1886 was one of the most visually impressive games to hit home consoles so far this generation. Mortal Kombat X continued the MK legacy, and introduced interactive environments into the franchise. Rise of the Tomb Raider not only was one of the most gorgeous Xbox One titles to date, but it’s also been heralded as one of the best action-adventure titles of all time. So many accolades were heaped upon the glut of AAA titles that released this year, but only several stood out amongst the crowd as the best of the best.
