One of the first big console exclusives of 2015, set to release in PlayStation‘s coveted God of War release window, is The Order: 1886. The folks at Ready At Dawn are breaking all of history’s rules with this one, taking a late-1800s Victorian-themed London, and showering it with some of the most exuberant anachronisms you’ll ever see grace the game’s time period. I was lucky enough to try a good portion of the game myself during the PlayStation Experience a couple of weeks ago, and have returned with a decent scoop on what folks can expect when the game launches next February.
This time around on Nerdist: Play, we’ll be taking an up-close look at The Order 1886, checking out the game’s unique setting, discussing some of the unique visual choices, and giving a couple of suggestions that the folks from Ready At Dawn could take into account before releasing the final product.
There are a lot of video games to be played this week, so no Twitter question today folks. But if you want to have your voice heard on a future episode of PLAY, be sure to join the conversation with yours truly over on Twitter!
Today’s episode of Nerdist: Play was sponsored by The Order: 1886, which is set to hit stores on February 20, 2015. Does this game look like something you could definitely see on your gaming display? Let us know in the comments below!
