Transformers: Age of Extinction is the latest entry in the Michael Bay directed Transformers series. With a brand new cast and the help of some Dinobots, Age of Extinction looks to be bigger than ever and the team behind the film has pulled out all the stops to get movie goers excited about the latest installment of the franchise.
Last week Transformers partnered with Uber for audiences to “Roll Out!” with Optimus Prime as their driver (you can check out my ride with the Autobot here). Next, Transformers celebrated it’s 30th anniversary with BotCon held in Southern California and the Ultimate Fan Experience – 2014 at Universal Studios Hollywood. From 8PM-11PM last Friday night the park was closed exclusively for Transformers fans who had free reign over the rides including everyone’s favorite adventure Transformers: The Ride – 3D. Fans were also treated to props from the movie, photos with Optimus, Bumblebee and Megatron and musician Stan Bush from Transformers: The Movie live and in concert!
As thought that wasn’t cool enough, watch now as Nerdist sits down with the stars of Transformers: Age of Extinction stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor to talk about joining the franchise, working with Michael Bay and all the crazy action.
Transformers: Age of Extinction is in theaters everywhere today, June 27!
