Batman fans have been treated to some unforgettable Jokers on screen, from Cesar Romero to Jack Nicholson to Mark Hamill to Heath Ledger. Plus, Vin Diesel reveals the man likely to be the next Fast and Furious director; and the latest from Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Bill Murray‘s Rock the Kasbah, and Bryan Cranston‘s Trumbo.

It looks like Jared Leto may have thrown himself into the role of the Clown Prince of Crime as deeply as his predecessor Heath Ledger did in The Dark Knight. In a new interview with Beats 1, Will Smith (a.k.a. Deadshot, the sometimes romantic rival to the Joker for the hand of Harley Quinn) says he didn’t meet Leto on the set of David Ayer’s film, just his alter ego…
“[Suicide Squad] is insane. I’ve never actually met Jared Leto. We worked together for 6 months and we’ve never exchanged a word outside of ‘Action!’ and ‘Cut!’ I literally have not met him yet. So, the first time I see him will be ‘Hey, Jared. What’s up?’ He was all in on the Joker.”
Co-starring Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Karen Fukuhara, Jay Hernandez, Adam Beach, and Viola Davis, Suicide Squad arrives on August 5, 2016.
After narrowing the search for a director for the next Fast and Furious movie to just four candidates, it looks like Universal has settled on one — at least if Vin Diesel’s latest Facebook reveal is any indication. The actor shared a photo of himself with Straight Outta Compton helmer F. Gary Gray…
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter
Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich has once again shared via Instagram a photo with a first look at some of her castmates in the film franchise’s ultimate installment, The Final Chapter, directed by her husband Paul W.S. Anderson…
Co-starring Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James, and Rola, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter bows on January 27, 2017.
Rock the Kasbah
Bill Murray’s latest looks like it could be another gem in the comedy king’s crown. Here’s a new TV spot for Rock the Kasbah, in which Murray stars as a washed-up music manager who, during a USO tour, finds an Afghan girl and gets her on the Afghanistan equivalent of American Idol. Barry Levinson directs the October 23rd release.
Bryan Cranston appears to be turning in another masterful performance as legendary blacklisted screenwriter Dalton Trumbo in director Jay Roach’s biopic Trumbo, co-starring Diane Lane, Louis C.K., Elle Fanning, John Goodman, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Helen Mirren. Trumbo debuts on November 6th. Here’s the international trailer…
