There were some pretty excellent moments of hilarity on @midnight this week. The guests were amazing. Ron Swanson wore plaid. And our fearless leader made sure that Taylor Swift knew she should stop calling him already!
Monday night had some suggestions for Saturday night with the hilarious #RejectedSNLcharacters hashtag war. Kids say the darnedest thing…especially when they’re aware of the internet. Just ask Reddit. Or just ask Moshe Kasher, Jerry Minor, and April Richardson because they brought their A game to the stage!
On Tuesday night, we were rewarded for our complaining about the weather all across the country with an expressive display of one-armed push-ups, #CatVideoGames, and some very important translations of emojis from Keegan-Michael Key, Paul Scheer, and Rob Huebel. When’s the last time you really evaluated all the kids in your life for their level of thug-ness? Please, please get on that. It’s important!
Pete Holmes, Ron Funches and Steve Rannazzisi joined Chris on Wednesday night. There was much camaraderie in the comedy sphere as they discussed The Rock’s recent stand-up foray. #BadMissedConnections reminded us that sometimes you just need to suppress those moments of instant connection. And we may have witnessed a true love connection between Pete and Ron! And then there was some talk of censorship and Paddington Bear…oh and dating.
Thursday brought us Aimee Mann, Dana Gould and Nick Offerman! There were some amorous primates, super “talented” YouTube sensations, and, well, Uncle Chuckles. Because it’s almost Thanksgiving, and if you can’t make fun of your family at Thanksgiving you would probably just cry, right?
