Did you miss @midnight while it was in repeats? We know we did! Here’s a little recap of all the funny that happened on this week’s set of all new episodes! Who doesn’t love a good Halloween week of comedy, am I right?
No one could make it through Monday without a freakout about Taylor Swift’s new album, and the folks at @midnight were no different. Dannah Phirman and Alison Becker also had fun with #crappyhalloweencostumes by turning Rob Corddry into not just one Halloween costume but two! Flashlights were held beneath chins for a super spooky Halloween edition of Black & WTF. And Big Pumpkin went after freedom of the press!
Tuesday night, more awwwwwwws were exchanged over a puppy in a too big cop dog harness than over Michael Jordan’s “return” to Twitter. Basically, the internet forgets nothing. Ebola-themed Halloween costumes were examined, and #MillennialMonsters was the hashtag war that Bobby Lee, Doug Benson and Ari Shaffir threw around. And the Amazon Book Fair is spooky as heck when it’s the Halloween edition.
#CatMovies and steampunk Chris! It’s Halloween week on @midnight, and Wednesday night was a doozy. Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, and Jay Chandrasekhar brought the funny to the podiums with Fireball toasts and Little Photoshop of Horrors for your entertainment.
Halloween brought together Aisha Tyler, Steve Agee and Brian Posehn for some laughs. They came up with great New York City vocabulary, wore costumes (because Halloween) and talked Hello Kitty Con! Everything was spooky, even Craigslist. And let me just tell you: Stories can be scary as all get out even when they only have five words.
