In keeping with his superhumanly busy broadcasting schedule, our fearless leader Chris Hardwick has assumed the responsibility of hosting more than your mere mortal’s share of panels at this year’s Comic-Con International. With a dozen presentations between Thursday and Sunday, ranging in subject matter from Mr. Robot to The Walking Dead to South Park, one wonders if there may not be some kind cloning experiment or interdimensional travels going on in Mr. Hardwick’s private life.
We’ve already heard about a number of the exhibitions that Chris Hardwick will be delivering at SDCC 2016, but a few have been safeguarded for the thrill of the surprise. For instance, Hardwick’s Saturday evening engagement in Hall H: a panel devoted to the ever expanding world of Marvel Studios.
The final day of Comic-Con has another pair of surprises in order. Hardwick will kick off his morning in Hall H with a Sherlock panel, revving the engines of all those many fans who’ve been battling withdrawal for the pithy antics of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, which won’t return to air until 2017.
Finally, Hardwick will end his tour at SDCC with a panel devoted to the latest craze to sweep not only nerd culture, not simply the millennial generation, but the entirety of America’s mobile phone-bearing populace: Pokémon GO.
