LEGO Boba Fett Costume

Someone give this guy a dad of the year award. He’s created a LEGO Star Wars Boba Fett costume for his six-year-old son and it couldn’t be any more awesome!

Created by The Dented Helmet member and graphic designer CGS1, he chose to replicated the LEGO Boba Fett featured in the 9496 Desert Skiff LEGO set. The costume is made from scratch using putty, sintra with pink insulation foam, with a bit of plastazote foam to create the removable jetpack.

He spent quite a bit of time and a lot of trial and error to get the shape, colors, and moldings just right with the help of photo references to get the replica looking spot on. The hassle was definitely worth it as the end result is absolutely gorgeous. Take a look for yourself with the images below:

I’m stunned at how closely he was able to capture the LEGO figurine. The paint he used even has that plastic sheen. Here’s to hoping the costume makes an appearance at Comic-con.
