After yesterday’s Thor: Ragnarok revelations, it looks like there’s a new spoiler maven on the interwebs: LEGO! That’s right, everyone’s favorite interconnecting blocks have become a reliable source for Marvel and DC superhero films thanks to the various toy deals in place. On today’s Nerdist News, we’re looking at the bricking news about the LEGO Justice League playsets which include a peak at the film’s climactic battle and a very non-surprising return!
Warning: there are potentially major spoilers ahead for Justice League. You know, major character beats, a look at the main villain, and a whole lot of Batman. If you don’t want to know those details, then this is your last chance to turn back!
Join host Jessica Chobot, as she walks us through the important details of the three LEGO Justice League playsets. First up is the Nightcrawler, a new Bat-vehicle designed for underground places that an ordinary Batmobile just couldn’t reach. Judging from the LEGO playset, it looks like Batman will be pursuing a couple of parademons in a tunnel that connects Gotham City and Metropolis, with the Flash providing additional support in the chase.
Next up is the battle of Atlantis; which will apparently be a big moment for Aquaman in the film. There are parademons here as well, and we’re thinking that this will be the key incident that gets Aquaman fully on board with the Justice League.
Finally, we have the Flying Fox Batmobile aerial attack playset, which appears to show off the major battle at the end of the film. This gives us a glimpse of Stephenwolf and Superman, who totally isn’t dead. But more intriguingly, it looks like this fight may take place on Apokolips itself.
