Man oh man, did we really make Kristian Bruun sing for his supper. After watching the first three episodes of Orphan Black‘s fourth season, we realized there wasn’t a whole lot we could discuss about what happens without ruining the viewer experience. And we are nothing if not spoilerphobes (it’s because we care). So, we tasked Donnie Hendrix’s real-life counterpart with quite the daunting task: to talk to us about Orphan Black in ways that didn’t actually spoil what’s happening in the season four premiere. Which is, to put it bluntly, no easy task.
Thankfully, Bruun is a proverbial, if not literal, prince, and took it all in stride… and yes using that word is an obvious play on the lithe dance moves that were graciously provided to us in the video below. But not satisfied to simply show off one of his many skills beyond acting, Mr. Alison Hendrix also managed to sing us the sweet, sweet song of his onscreen plight with the sestrahood like no other. And though Bruun wasn’t in Toronto while we were on set, that didn’t stop him from getting in on the Real Fake Spoilers tip. Is it true, what he says, about what’s happening to Donnie? You’ll have to tune in on April 14 (that’s Thursday!) to find out.
Needless to say: this video is pure magic and the stuff that GIFs are made of. Now who’s going to volunteer to draw Orphan Black fan art where Donnie’s the clone? Because everybody wants to see that.
